Leopold Holder's background is 40 years’ experience in Piano Restoration as well as
piano tuning and repairs. I conduct research studies, and appraisals of personal property, specializing in Pianos. Past clients have included distinguished Pianists, Musicians, Conductors, Galleries, Auction Houses, Estates, Prominent Music Schools, Museums, Insurance Companies, Adjusters, Moving Companies, Educational Institutions, Concert Halls and Individuals Internationally.
My appraisals reports can be used in the areas of probate resolution, estate tax planning, fair equity / marital distribution, debt obligation, bankruptcy / liquidation and insurance underwriting as well as non-cash charitable contributions.
What I Offer:
Leopold Holder is a professional appraiser and consultant, member of Piano Technicians Guild and Appraisers Association of America. My computerized appraisals and consultations are carefully researched and documented, and accurately reflect current market trends. I offer appraisals for the purposes of Estate, Capital Gains, Gift Tax, Charitable Contribution, Insurance, Damage, Loss, Equitable Distribution, and Resale. We also offer consultations regarding Fair Market Values for resale, insurance reviews, conservation, transportation as well as all facets of piano restoration.
My hands on and remote appraisals are prepared in accordance with the current Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and Internal Revenue Service Regulations. I am an accredited member of Appraisers Association of America - A fee schedule is available upon request.
